Stanton House is recruiting an Interim Financial Accountant to join a PE-backed Wealth Management firm in London on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract. The role offers a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 (pro-rata) and hybrid working, 2-3 days in their London Office.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare statutory accounts for group subsidiaries and consolidated group financials
* Deliver timely monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
* Partner with department heads to review financial performance and key drivers
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting (e.g. FCA returns)
* Manage audit deliverables and liaise with external auditors
* Improve and document internal processes and controls
* Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and, longer term, support transactions and due diligence
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
* Qualified Accountant, ACA or ACCA preferred, ideally with 1+ year of industry experience
* Solid technical accounting knowledge
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
* Honest, communicative, and collaborative approach
* Experience with Sage (or similar systems) preferred
* Proficient in Excel and comfortable with finance systems
* Motivated to enhance systems, processes, and controls
