We're on the lookout for a Service Controller to keep our EMC hire fleet in peak condition. You'll manage the day-to-day service function, coordinating engineers and third-party suppliers to deliver fast, safe, and effective repairs and servicing. This is a key role in ensuring equipment uptime and keeping customers informed every step of the way.
Coordinate mobile, workshop, and third-party repairs with efficiency and accuracy
Handle service bookings, breakdowns, damage reports, and warranty cases
Communicate regularly with customers, ensuring updates are timely and transparent
Record and monitor service updates and costs on our maintenance system
Support compliance scheduling and reporting for key service milestones
About You
You'll bring hands-on experience from a similar service control, fleet maintenance, or engineering admin role. Calm under pressure and organised by nature, you'll thrive in a busy environment where no two days are quite the same.
Proven experience in a similar service or fleet coordination role
Excellent communication and scheduling skills
Confident using maintenance management systems
Comfortable working with customers and internal teams
Passionate about high service standards and asset availability
