Maternity Cover Veterinary Surgeon – Gravesend Vets4Pets
We are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a 1-year FTC maternity cover starting around August. The role is full-time: 37.5 hours per week with a single Saturday a month.
Our modern practice is purpose built to industry‑leading standards and is equipped with digital X‑ray, an in‑house laboratory, Doppler blood pressure, digital radiography, ultrasound, capnography, pulse oximetry, V‑gels for cats and rabbits, surgical suction and separate dog and cat wards.
Location: Imperial Retail Park, Gravesend DA11 0DQ, with ample onsite parking and easy access to the A2 and high‑speed links to Central London.
You will join a team of 3 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, a Practice Manager and 5 Receptionists. Partner Paul Gunning holds a certificate in small animal surgery and an interest in orthopaedics.
Responsibilities may include sole charge responsibility, management of both surgical and medical cases, and strong client communication.
