Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Used Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our Audi team at our Solihull site. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30am – 1:00pm (41.5 hours per week). As part of the Birmingham Audi Preparation Centre, you will play a key role in preparing used vehicles to Audi's high standards before delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
* Carry out pre-delivery inspections on used vehicles to Audi standards
* Perform mechanical repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
* Conduct visual inspections of vehicle exteriors and interiors
* Fit approved accessories
* Complete all relevant documentation prior to vehicle handover
* Carry out road testing where necessary
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role as either a fully qualified or part-qualified technician
* Full UK driving licence (road testing may be required)
* We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician
* Holding or working towards completion of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
