The RoleWe're looking for a Flow Technologist to join our Water Recycling team and play a key role in driving innovation and optimisation across our catchments. What You'll Be DoingReporting to the Technology Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving innovation and optimisation across Water Recycling.In this role, you will:Manage, supervise and support innovative optimisation and flow‑related projects, taking them from conception through to exploitationExplore, trial and test new technologies that improve flow compliance, performance and operational efficiencyInterpret Water Recycling optimisation, investment and maintenance strategies to identify innovative, effective solutions that support business and strategy implementationWork closely with catchment flow, operational and other internal teams to understand challenges, identify key opportunities and risks, and target optimisation and flow compliance activitiesEnsure that innovation activity across Water Recycling is aligned, joined‑up and supports wider strategic objectivesProvide technical input and oversight to ensure projects deliver practical, scalable outcomesBuild and maintain a broad internal and external network across the water industry and its supply chain, keeping up to date with emerging technologies, best practice and innovation opportunities This is a highly collaborative role that combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, where you'll help shape smarter, more effective ways of delivering flow compliance and optimisation across Water Recycling. What We're Looking ForIdeally possess a technical qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Categorised 3Experience or knowledge within Water or Water Recycling, working on or with operational assetsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to work well as part of a team, while also operating autonomouslyAdvanced IT literacyProactive and forward‑looking approach, with a proven track record in performance managementAbility to operate both strategically and tactically, adapting to changing prioritiesFull UK driving licence Why Join Us?
