Senior Software Engineer
You will take ownership of sophisticated modelling and simulation projects that directly influence the next generation of UK defence capabilities. The essentials
* Sole British nationality is required due to the sensitive nature of the work.
* Ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
* Proven experience in the design and delivery of performant software applications.
* Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5
* Defence/Videogames background or similar

Your profile
* At least five years of experience in Software Engineering
* Proficiency with C++ and Unreal Engine 5
* Strong background in mathematical principles or statistical problem solving.
* Comfortable working under performance and hardware constraints.
* Excellent communication skills for authoring technical reports and presenting to clients.

Location and setup
The role is based in Portsmouth and operates on a hybrid basis with three days per week spent on site. You should be comfortable with occasional travel across the UK to visit client locations.
