About The Role
Oakleigh Lodge is a vibrant 3-bed bungalow in Mapperley, Nottingham! We support adults with learning and physical disabilities to live their best lives. We celebrate birthdays with food, cake, and music, visit the seaside, and enjoy relaxing in our sensory room.
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, enabling care, facing new challenges and rewards daily. You will help us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
* Develop engaging activity plans for autonomy and growth.
* Support healthy lifestyles and health management.
* Facilitate communication and maintain records.
* Oversee medication processes and support self-administration.
* Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
