Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver Based Manchester M40 Salary £12.21 per hour, 40 hours per week Monday Friday including paid breaks The Role: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative/FLT Counterbalance Operator to join our warehouse team in Manchester (M40). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe and effective handling of materials. Responsibilities Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials. Manage the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any defects to ensure the safety and integrity of the equipment is maintained. Perform other duties, as required, within the warehouse environment Maintain accurate records of inventory and assist in stock management using warehouse management systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required. Requirements Valid FLT Counterbalance licence is essential. Minimum of 12 months FLT experience within a fast paced accurate environment. Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping. Experience in load unloading and materials handling within a warehouse setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
