What You’ll Do
* The Debt Sale Consultant is a subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end execution of debt sale engagements, from initial scoping and portfolio valuation to final delivery.
* This critical role drives the debt sale agenda by managing a revenue budget and delivering high-quality, flawless debt sales that maintain the organisation's market-leading position.
* Key responsibilities include managing complex project timelines, coordinating with key stakeholders from the internal Equifax team, and serving as the primary point of communication between seller clients and purchaser panels.
* Success in this role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders while simultaneously mentoring team members.
What Experience You Need
* Exceptional communicator – across all levels of the businesses and organizations debt services deal with
* Problem solving and time management skills with a high degree of rigor
* Strongly motivated to do the right thing
* Proven ability to operate independently and take initiative
* Experience leading projects & being responsible for their output and delivery on time
* Proven track record in the debt sale industry within Financial Services, Utilities, or similar industries
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a time pressured environment to achieve revenue targets

* Project Management: Formal PM skills to manage the intersection of technical delivery and commercial deadlines.
* Market Insight: Extensive industry experience with a deep understanding of the collections and recoveries lifecycle and the current debt purchaser market.
