Cable Jointers Mates Power & Infrastructure Resourcing are looking for an experienced Cable Jointers Mates for upcoming works in Scotland. Location: Scotland ( Dundee & North ) (Monday–Friday) Duration: Approx. 6 months starting March 2026 (likelihood of additional works to follow) Hours: 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday (competitive rates + tax-free subsistence) Sector: Power & Infrastructure Rates: Competitive Key Responsibilities * Assist Cable Jointers with the preparation and completion of LV and HV jointing and cable terminations * Support cable installation activities, including pulling, laying and securing cables * Carry out excavation and reinstatement tasks where required * Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment around the jointing area * Assist with setting up safe systems of work, including barriers, signage and site protection * Ensure all tools, materials and equipment are available, clean and properly maintained * Follow method statements, risk assessments, and DNO safety rules * Record basic site information and support the completion of job documentation * Communicate clearly with the Jointer and wider team to support efficient workflow * Report hazards, near misses and incidents in line with SHEQ procedures * Represent the company professionally on client sites and in public areas Skills & Experience Required * Experience supporting cable jointing activities (...
