Overview

Service Coordinator (Fire Safety) – Location: Bermondsey, London SE1 • Competitive Salary + Benefits

Our subsidiary, Firetecnics Systems, is looking for an experienced Fire Safety Service Coordinator to join on a permanent basis.

Firetecnics Systems is one of London’s most trusted LPCB-certified fire safety companies, with a strong reputation in the industry for over 35 years. Firetecnics is part of the Helix International Group Ltd, experiencing 30% year-on-year growth. We are expanding in London and serving the property industry. We provide a full range of services from fire alarm installation to ongoing compliance management, combining technical expertise with proactive, personalised service.


The role

* Take reactive call-outs and allocate them to the relevant engineers
* Plan and schedule the monthly planned preventative maintenance workload
* Liaise with clients to arrange appointments for engineers’ attendance
* Liaise with field engineers on jobs
* Use Microsoft Office daily (e.g., Excel, Outlook)
* Update in-house systems with daily activities
* Build strong relationships with external subcontractors
* Compile necessary paperwork from services and call-outs completed
* Provide engineers reports to clients following visits
* Request purchase orders from clients as required
* Update client portals as necessary
* Work alongside Operations Manager and liaise with the sales team
* General filing and scanning
* Ad-hoc duties as required


Qualities

* Understanding of the fire alarm industry
* Self-starter with excellent communication skills
* Ability to allocate workload to engineers efficiently
* Ability to prioritise workload under pressure
* Motivates engineers and works on own initiative
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Professional telephone manner
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Fast and efficient learner
* Commercially minded


Skills

* Minimum 5 years of proven clerical and administrative experience in the service industry
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, etc.
* Experience within the fire safety industry
