The Company Neos Engineering are partnered with a leading engineering organisation delivering critical power solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in generator and control systems.
The Role As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and support of power generation and control systems. You will play a key role in delivering projects across a range of environments, ensuring systems are fully operational, compliant, and integrated.
Carry out generator commissioning, including testing, fault finding, and performance verification
Configure and test Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) and ComAp control panels
Commission Automatic Bus Controllers (ABCs) and associated systems
Interpret electrical schematics and support control panel design and build
Produce commissioning reports and documentation
Proven experience in generator commissioning
Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers
Experience with Automatic Bus Controllers (ABCs)
Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills
Relevant electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ or equivalent) xkybehq
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience within critical power environments (data centres, hospitals, utilities)
Exposure to water industry / water board projects
Knowledge of PLC systems and integration
Previous client-facing commissioning experience
UK-wide travel with regular overnight stays required
