We are looking to recruit a fully skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience.

Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team at Beverston Engineering Limited. Located in our modern 16,420 square foot machine shop, you will play a critical role in manufacturing precision components that meet stringent industry requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
* Safely programme, set up and operate a variety of CNC machinery independently
* Work to quality specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings to produce various precision components to tight tolerances
* Maintain traceability of all components and paperwork
* General cleanliness and housekeeping
* Effective communication with Team Members and Team Leader
* Comply with company health and safety procedures
* Support and input in the development of machining processes and tooling/fixture design
* Select tools according to manufacturing process requirements
* Take ownership of machine Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM)
* Utilise suitable quality equipment to ensure product conformance
* Take ownership of machining cell 5S
* Use digital screens to input production and quality data
Requirements
* Mazak/ Mazatrol programming experience preferred but not essential
* Experience in programming, setting, and operating multi-axis CNC machining centres
* Ability to adjust offsets to ensure accuracy of finished components
* Excellent understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection
* A team player who will work well in our supportive team environment
* Advanced computer and numerical skills
* Flexible approach with the ability to follow detailed instructions
* A pro-active and self-motivated individual
* Engineering NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or time-served experience
Based at our 16,420ft² premises in Knowsley, Merseyside
39 hours per week
Mon–Thurs: 8am – 4pm
Fri: 8am – 3pm
Please note: Although the standard hourly rate is £18.37, all lunch breaks are paid, meaning you are paid for 39 hours while working only 36.5. This makes the effective hourly rate £19.63.
