A rapidly expanding, independent, family-owned business in the construction supply sector is seeking a Management Accountant. This is an exclusive search by Venture Recruitment Partners for an ambitious finance professional looking to step up and support the Finance Director in delivering accurate, timely insights to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple cost centres
* Variance analysis against budget and forecast, with clear and concise commentary
* Supporting monthly forecasting processes alongside the Financial Controller
* KPI reporting and assisting in the development of performance metrics
* Maintenance of the nominal ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and stock analysis
* Assisting with fixed asset management and ERP system improvements
* Supporting audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
* Assisting with the annual budget cycle, including data gathering and analysis
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience finance professional with:
* Experience in management accounts or a strong assistant management accountant background
* Good Excel skills (Power BI or ERP exposure beneficial but not essential)
* A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail
* Desire to learn, develop and take on more responsibility
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
* A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to challenge and improve processes
