Job Description – Apprentice IT/AV/CCTV Installation Engineer The Opportunity Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice IT/AV/CCTV Installation Engineer to join their team in High Wycombe. The Level 3 Network Cable Installer apprenticeship programme that we are offering, will allow you to kick-start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational. The Position Job Title: Apprentice IT/AV/CCTV Installation Engineer Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship Duration: 12 months Assesssment Location: High Wycombe Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-6pm (45 hours per week) Meet at yard at 7am to travel with the team to sites. Salary: £16,500 About the position: We offer a wide range of services that include the installation and maintenance of computer IT, Audio Visual (AV), CCTV and Access Control solutions in a variety of settings, including private business and education. We are based in Buckinghamshire, with clients based primarily in the south east. We have an exciting opportunity for a apprentice IT/AV/CCTV Installation Engineer to help deliver the AV, IT and CCTV solutions we supply our customers. This role starts early, is physical, often outdoors and includes heavy lifting. To be successful in this role you will need to deliver and help with high quality installations to our Clients, ensuring attention to detail. You should be able to work independently, as well as in a team, and be flexible to changing deadlines. Reliability and adaptability are vital for this dynamic role together with exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. This is a chance to gain experience and to progress within an organisation where individuals thrive on change and to work within an innovative and growing SME. The role is an opportunity for a manual worker looking for a change in career direction or a school leaver. This is not a desk-based technical role. There is an opportunity to develop the role for the right candidate. Enhanced DBS and Security clearance checks will be carried out. Criteria for Candidates · Right to work in the UK. Self-motivated · Resourceful · Professional attitude and a strong work ethic · Ability to work in a fast moving environment · Good time-management and organisational skills · Ability to think ahead and identify problems and issues · Value and deliver quality service · Open and friendly communication style Skills and Experience · Full UK Driving Licence essential (company vehicles are provided for jobs) · Own car essential for getting to base outside High Wycombe, Bucks, HP14 each day for 7am · Previous IT/AV installation experience is desirable but not essential · Strong problem-solving skills · Ability to lift and move heavy equipment · Willing to apply for an ECS card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme)/CSCS card Benefits: Additional leave Company pension Free parking On-site parking Application question(s): Please confirm you have both a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle to commute to work each day.
