What You’ll Do:
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering
1. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to capture and validate business requirements.
2. Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
Process Improvement & Solution Design
3. Analyse existing ceded reinsurance workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy.
4. Recommend and implement process enhancements that reduce cost and improve data quality.
Systems Expertise
5. Work with ceded reinsurance platforms such as Global XLPro, ELGAR, or DXC SICScede.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to maximize system capabilities.
Technical Analysis & Testing
7. Use SQL Server for data analysis, reporting, and automation.
8. Develop and execute test cases; support UAT and ensure smooth implementation of changes.
Documentation & Reporting
9. Create detailed documentation including workflows, user guides, and technical specs.
10. Deliver regular reports on system performance and project milestones.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience & Domain Knowledge
11. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in ceded reinsurance, with strong exposure to the UK insurance market.
12. Familiarity with LORS and London Market processes is highly desirable.
13. Experience leading client-facing projects or teams is a plus.
Technical Skills
14. Proficiency in SQL Server.
15. Experience with Global XLPro, ELGAR, or DXC SICScede is advantageous.
16. Knowledge of data migration and analytics is a bonus.
