Architectural Technologist – Central London
Our client is currently seeking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to join them in their London office to work on High-end residential schemes and to help grow the company.
As an Architectural Technologist in a consultancy, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between architectural design and construction.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Work closely with architects to transform design concepts into detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications. This includes creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
* Use BIM software to create accurate and detailed digital models of buildings. This helps in visualizing the design, detecting clashes, and coordinating with other disciplines
* Ensure that designs comply with local and national building regulations and codes, covering aspects like safety, accessibility, fire protection, and energy efficiency
* Manage and coordinate multiple projects, including client budgets, schedules, and communications. This includes facilitating project meetings and perform site and field reviews
* Provide technical advice on materials, construction methods, and innovative solutions to design problems
* Develop and analyse specifications, ensuring that all technical details are accurately documented and communicated to the construction team
