Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:
* Proven experience as a System Administrator in secure or enterprise environments.
* Hands-on experience with both Linux and Windows Server.
* Skilled in patching at scale (WSUS and Linux repositories) and managing firewalls.
* Understanding of network protocols and core cybersecurity principles.
* Familiarity with Elastic monitoring, Nessus, and SOC workflows.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively monitor and triage alerts using Elastic.
* Maintain resilient network connectivity across the organization.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments with Nessus and act on SOC outputs.
* Implement firewall upgrades and necessary configuration changes.
* Manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for controlled Windows patch deployments.
* Oversee Linux repositories and patching cycles from pre-production to production.
