Electronics Technician
Witney, Oxfordshire
£35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Our client are a leader in their industry - they design, develop and manufacture high-precision products! They are recruiting for an enthusiastic Electronics Technician, who will work closely with the engineering design team.
Electronics Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
* Build, test and validate prototypes or existing designs, work will include
* Soldering electronic components to PCBs
* Performing electro/mechanical assembly including wiring and crimping
* Coil winding
* Conducting validation testing of completed units and sub-assembles
* Fault finding to determine cause of failure
* Building or repairing products to Sales orders or Repair Orders
* Creation of technical documentation for new and existing products
* Be a key part of the R&D project team throughout the entire product design process from initial experimentation and research through to release to Production
* Running Design Changes (DCNs)
* Liaison with suppliers
Electronics Technician Skills and Experience:
* High degree of manual dexterity
* Ability to solder through-hole and surface mount components onto PCBs
* Understand electronic circuit diagrams and mechanical assembly drawings
* Ability to fault find down to component level using scopes, multimeters, etc
* High level of I.T competence including MS Office software and Adobe Acrobat
* A technical qualification is desirable
* Creation/modification of technical documentation
Electronics Technician Working Hours:
* 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
