On offer is a fantastic opening to become part of a skilled engineering team for a company that processes over 500,000 tonnes of steel annually. You will be part of a close-knit, multi-skilled crew working on both planned maintenance and reactive repairs, ensuring machinery is running at peak performance and playing a vital role within this.
In this role, you'll perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair faults, and install electrical systems up to 415V 3-phase, while occasionally supporting mechanical tasks alongside a mechanical partner. You'll work a two-shift rotation 6am to 2pm and 2pm to midnight with some overtime and weekend shifts to keep the site running smoothly. You'll also have opportunities to develop your skills in PLC fault-finding and overhead crane maintenance.
