About The Role

Please note this position is for night shifts.
Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key duties. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly.
