This busy team is very experienced, highly supportive, friendly and enthusiastic about what they do. Family Connect is a multi agency partnership approach to safeguarding children and young people that support early help and safeguarding decisions. The partnership working provides the platform for timely informed decision making and offers triage support for the purpose of safeguarding children or offering early help and prevention solutions supported by integrated working practices. The Family Connect Safeguarding Senior Social Workers within Family Connect provide professional, effective and positive responses to all requests for service concerning children in need and children experiencing significant harm. The work is challenging, and involves undertaking a range of enquiries by way of telephone calls and electronic correspondence. Within this role you will be required to critically analyse and reflect on your finding to ensure an appropriate decision is made and proportionate support is provided where necessary. An electronic case management system is used, the work is fast paced and is solely office based.
