About the Role
Don-Bur Group are looking for a motivated 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT team.
This is a hands‑on role providing front‑line IT support to staff across multiple sites, resolving technical issues, supporting business systems, and helping to keep IT services running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line IT support via phone, email and service desk
* Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
* Install and configure PCs, laptops and IT equipment
* Support Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory environments
* Troubleshoot network, Wi‑Fi and printing issues
* Log, manage and update support tickets
* Work alongside the development team to test and support in‑house software solutions
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support role
* Strongcustomer serviceand communication skills
* Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
* Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)
* Active Directory user and device management
* Ability to troubleshoot issues with PCs, laptops and peripherals
* A proactive, organised and professional approach

Location: Mossfield Road, Stoke‑on‑Trent, ST3 5BW
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Mon-Thu 08:30-16:45 | Fri 08:30 - 15:30
