Due to continued expansion, we are seeking applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for an Occupational Health and Safety Environment Officer (Health and Safety) position. The successful candidate will oversee the Health Safety and Environmental activities at two sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental are adhered to.
* Work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans.
* Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise site team of appropriate/necessary actions required.
* Liaise with Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc) Implement company policy at all times i.e. compliance with regulations and permits.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH National General certificate – essential.
* NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable.
* Any environmental qualifications – desirable.
* IOSH Working Safely – desirable.
* National Compliance and Risk Qualifications - desirable.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing and experience with changing cultures - desirable.
* Problem solving and Internal audit skills.
* Risk Assessment Experience.
Salary: £30,244 to £35,084 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
