Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organised and professional Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming private dental practice in the heart of Salisbury. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the practice. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy clinical environment.
Duties
* Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Manage the reception area, keeping it tidy and welcoming at all times.
* Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality.
* Handle correspondence, including emails and postal mail, ensuring timely responses.
* Scheduling appointments and managing dentist/therapist/hygienist diaries, liasing with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient journey.
* Processing payments.
* Using Dentally software
Experience
* Previous reception and/or dental experience is desirable but not essential for this role, full training will be provided.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is required, ideally experience of Dentally or other dental software.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while prioritising workload.
