Family based Bournemouth Chartered Accountancy practice are recruiting a Bookkeeper on a Temp / Temp to Perm or Perm basis.

Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm.

Bookkeeper - circa £16 - £17.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
Prepare financial statements and reports for clients.
Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely submission of payroll taxes.
Handle client queries and provide excellent customer service.
Collaborate with accountants to support audits and tax filings.
Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) for data entry and financial management.
Monitor and manage budgets and forecasts.
Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in an accountancy practice.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (ESSENTIAL IRIS)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
