Clarkes Floors & Furniture is a long-established, family-run flooring business (est. 1968) serving Essex and London. Due to continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Senior Sales & Aftersales Coordinator.
This is a hands-on, senior support role focused on customer care and sales-floor contribution.
The Role
Aftersales (Primary Focus)
You will take ownership of customer aftersales issues, including:
* Managing complaints from first contact to resolution
* Liaising with customers, fitters, warehouse and suppliers
* Organising inspections and remedial works
* Keeping customers informed throughout the process
* Maintaining clear records and reporting trends to management
Sales Floor Support (Secondary Focus)
You will also:
* Serve customers on the shop floor
* Prepare quotations
* Support the sales team during busy periods and Saturdays
* Help maintain a calm, professional customer environment
About You
* Experience in flooring, home improvement, retail sales/aftersales, or distribution preferred
* Confident handling customer complaints and difficult conversations
* Organised, calm under pressure, and reliable
* Comfortable working directly with customers and colleagues
* Looking for a stable, long-term role with progression
Salary & Progression
* £32,000 – £35,000 starting salary (depending on experience)
