What you do
You will engage in large-scale, cross-functional audits, gaining in-depth business knowledge and developing in a multicultural environment. A Senior Auditor is a seasoned professional who requires minimal supervision, supporting lead auditors and managing less experienced auditors. Your interpersonal skills will be vital in collaborating with audit managers and heads overseeing your projects.
You may also provide context for audit findings during follow-up reviews to ensure timely implementation of recommendations. Additional tasks may be assigned by senior audit leadership.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Examining the effectiveness of risk management, controls, governance, operational efficiency, and documenting your work thoroughly.
2. Communicating findings, recommendations, and risks clearly with the audit team and management.
3. Respecting management's time through proper planning and efficient meetings.
4. Ensuring management action plans adequately address risks before finalizing reports.
5. Building strong relationships with functional heads and local CEOs.
6. Mentoring junior auditors and sharing knowledge to enhance team skills.
7. Contributing to administrative tasks like risk assessments, audit planning, and documentation.
8. Presenting findings at closing meetings.
What you bring
* 4-6 years of audit experience.
* A proactive, energetic attitude.
* Ability to work collaboratively during intensive audit missions.
* Willingness to travel internationally 30-40% of the time.
* Experience working across cultures and diverse teams.
* Comfort with long-haul business travel, including business class for flights over 5 hours.
* Strong interviewing skills and disciplined approach from past roles in audit, project, or risk management.
* Proficiency with MS-Office and interest in exploring new technologies like data analytics.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
* Continuous learning mindset and curiosity about business dynamics.
* Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CIA, CPA) are advantageous.
* Knowledge of FCA requirements and experience in financial services are highly desirable.
