About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary Geography Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Sefton area. We are looking for a teacher who is reliable and enthusiastic with a dedication to inspire and motivate students.
Secondary Geography Teacher
Location: Maghull, L31
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Type: Temporary, 3 months
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Pay: Paid to scale
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create engaging and comprehensive lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to various learning styles.
Assessment: Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
Encourage Participation: Promote active engagement and participation among students.
Resource Management: Select and utilise appropriate textbooks, resources, and materials.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
