EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. EKFB is seeking to recruit a Senior Safety, Health and Wellbeing Manager to join our team in the Chipping Warden Area. The Senior Safety, Health and Wellbeing Manager will lead and manage all aspects of Safety, Health & Wellbeing for the assigned Delivery Area. This position will e ngage with Delivery Team to deliver the EKFB SH&W Strategy and associated programmes at sectional level and ascertain key construction milestones and feed back to central SHW function. This role will a link between the Delivery Team and the central SH&W function via the Routewide SH&W Manager and e nsure the appropriate completion of Hazard Profiles for designated Delivery Area and implement proportionate local assurance measures in line with EKFB requirements. The position will i dentify trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement from key performance data and through regular engagement with local Delivery team. The Senior Safety, Health and Wellbeing Manager will drive a positive SH&W culture onsite and actively promote and engage with “Making the Right Choice” and wellbeing initiatives. This position will s hare and promote best practice and investigation findings arising from the Delivery Area and m anage and monitor consistency of compliance with EKFB SH&W BMS requirements across the Delivery Area. This role will engage with Delivery Area Team where there is potential for improvements and / or efficiencies to be made to the EKFB BMS and communicate the benefits of relevant content. The role will also a ssure accurate and timely reporting of all necessary SH&W criteria (including events) for the Delivery Area and p erform audits and surveillance activities across EKFB.
