Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Sexual Health nurse to join our team in Truro, Cornwall and our satellite clinic in the east of the county. This is an exciting opportunity to work effectively as part of the clinical team to deliver high quality Contraception and Sexual Health services to the local community, in line with excellent clinical practice, maximising CASH clinical skills, whilst exercising effective leadership skills.
Hours: Part‑Time 28 Hours per week (will consider more or less for the right candidate). Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the management team, clinical and non‑clinical staff while contributing to high‑quality, patient‑focused care across the service.
* Deliver high quality Contraception and Sexual Health services to the local community.
* Exercise effective leadership skills within the clinical team.
* Participate in service development and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Current Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Nurse (Sub part 1 of the NMC register).
* Registered Midwife.
* Recognised qualification in Contraception and Sexual Health (FSRH Diploma, STIF, LOC) or willingness to work towards it.
* UK driver’s licence and access to a car.
* Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
* Right to work in the UK and ability to provide supporting paperwork.
