Overall job purpose
To play a key role in delivering reactive assignments across a diverse client base. This includes being a lead consultant in investigations and linked assignments. The role involves working independently or as part of a team, acting as an ambassador for RSM as a trusted fraud advisor. It is suitable for candidates experienced in criminal investigations related to fraud and financial crime, aiming to work with a variety of clients and assignments. Responsibilities include delivering investigation services and supporting clients experiencing fraud, with compliance to relevant legislation.

Responsibilities
* Maintain RSM's service standards and values, ensuring timely delivery of fraud investigations to a criminal standard.
* Produce case files and present cases in courts.
* Support clients and perform additional duties as required.
* Manage work efficiently, meeting quality and cost objectives.
* Achieve personal objectives and performance targets, with periodic reviews.
* Comply with operational procedures and policies.
* Undertake reactive investigations, attend client meetings, and present findings.
* Participate in additional projects as a lead or team member.
* Travel as necessary and be flexible to client needs.
* Must be ACFS qualified and undergo enhanced DBS and proprietary clearance.
Essential qualifications and skills
* ACFS qualification
* Experience in fraud prevention, detection, or investigations
* Experience managing criminal cases and understanding legislation and disclosure
* Ability to handle multiple investigations within deadlines
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Client-focused with a flexible approach
* Strong organizational skills and initiative
* Knowledge of fraud and bribery legislation
* Proficiency in IT and office software
* Team player with relationship-building skills
* Willingness to travel and possibly stay overnight
Desirable qualifications
* PIP Level 2 Investigator or equivalent
* Full, clean driving license with own vehicle
