Adult Safeguarding Early Response Manager
Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Adult Early Response Manager within the Early Response Service to work full time based in Worcestershire.
The salary for this permanent Adult Safeguarding Early Response Manager job is up to £57,109 per annum.
* To provide effective leadership and management of the Safeguarding Early Response Team.
* To ensure that the safeguarding response makes residents safer and supports them to manage risks.
* To deliver robust arrangements for the triage of safeguarding enquiries.
* To deliver robust arrangements for the triage of safeguarding enquiries.
* To deliver an early preventative response to safeguarding concerns which do not meet the S42(1) criteria.
* To oversee the completion and quality assurance of proportionate, outcome focused, legally literate safeguarding enquiries assessed as low risk.
* To ensure that all safeguarding work is undertaken in partnership with the person concerned and/or their representative and carer reflecting the requirements of Making Safeguarding Personal.
* To ensure that the safeguarding principle and best practice guidance are reflected within safeguarding practice.
* To deliver a duty response for calls to the team from WCC managers and staff and from partners.
* To contribute to the provider concerns process and organisational abuse enquiries, providing expert safeguarding advice when required.
* To collaborate with partners to establish an effective framework for the management of positions of trust concerns.
* To ensure the Safeguarding Early Response Team operate within the allocated budget and to take prompt action to manage potential overspend.
* To deputise for the Head of Safeguarding Services as required.
* To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training.

Requirements of this Adult Safeguarding Early Response Manager role:
* A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Relevant Social Work experience.
