Commercial Quality enables the Commercial organization to innovate and operate at lightspeed by embedding quality in user-centric, end-to-end business processes through oversight, risk-based controls and consultancy. The CQ organization serves over 20,000 commercial colleagues providing quality services across in-scope quality areas (e.g., Global Content, Patient Support Programs, Customer Sponsored Programs), including: Standardizing quality processes to drive consistency and enable the business to move at lightspeed Proactively addressing emerging regulatory and compliance risks Streamlining implementation and delivery of new and evolving processes Maximizing user experience Building expertise and agility into the CQ workforce in order to create a “best place to work” environment ROLE SUMMARY The Quality Process Lead is a proactive, dynamic and results driven colleague who is accountable for standardizing quality processes, driving process simplification and maximizing user experience of CQ services enabling the realization of CQ’s strategic priorities. This global role leads the strategic design and implementation of opportunities that ensure Commercial colleagues have access to a set of risk-based quality processes. This role is expected to develop proposals that enable our CQ roadmap. A key part of this role is to partner with the Business Process Owners to define opportunities, drive buy-in to CQ proposals, design and rollout changes. As part of designing changes this role will lead the development of integrated quality guidance for Commercial colleagues. As a senior colleague in CQ, the Quality Process Lead will collaborate closely with the CQ LT to shape and lead strategic commercial quality initiatives. Additionally, this role will identify new ways of working and drive continuous improvement that generates value creating opportunities for the CMO and Commercial business. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable for: Process Design and Implementation Lead design and global roll out of risk-based quality processes providing users an integrated experience while maintaining Pfizer’s commitment to quality Assess and monitor effectiveness and efficiency of processes Actively capture feedback from internal CQ teams and actual users Maintain tactical roadmap (including dependencies) driven by strategic roadmaps and aligned with stakeholders within and outside of CQ Influence development of CQ’s integrated customer focussed training strategy Partner with the CQ LT to drive realization of CQ’s strategic priorities Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives Lead assigned projects CQ Guidelines Lead development of risk-based, integrated commercial quality guidelines, and supporting documentation in collaboration with the Business Process Owners, CQ delivery teams and Quality team Manage rollout and maintenance of guidelines, and other supporting documentation, including change management and communications in collaboration with the Commercial Quality team Assure audit and inspection readiness of owned guidelines and supporting documents Respond to escalated commercial quality guideline queries (as applicable) Subject Matter Expertise and Consultancy Drive opportunities to standardize program designs and/or use of best practice Be the SME in CSP/PSP program design: increase awareness of best practices provide consultancy to Service Delivery team to enhance quality of program designs Respond to escalated commercial quality guideline queries (as applicable) Assess potential risks and operationalise risk based solutions for CMO initiatives Stakeholder Engagement Drive awareness to continuously improve understanding of CQ guidelines across the CQ community in partnership with the Business Process Owners and Quality Leads Support during audits and remediation for global process / corporate audits when required and update guidance documentation to meet audit remediation expectations Manage contractors or vendors supporting service integration activities BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BS degree Extensive relevant experience with strong experience in pharma Limited relevant experience in quality related roles Understand the fundamentals of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory requirements, and risk management Strong process (re)design capabilities incl. global roll out Solid understanding of commercial business activities Demonstrated extensive experience of aligning senior stakeholders and facilitating conflict Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze information, draw insights and recommend improvements; ability to synthesize problems and develop innovative solutions and strategies Demonstrated strategic thought leadership and ability to drive transformation Experience of working across cultures and multiple time zones Fluent in English language (verbal and written) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BS degree preferred discipline(s): Science, Business Studies/Management, Information Technology Experience in commercial operations and/or sales & marketing Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize and work independently to complete quality work on a timely basis Experience in business case development Foundational knowledge of emerging digital channels and technologies (including wearables, RPA, AI) Other Job Information Work Location Assignment: Flexible R ecommended timezone Europe / AFME Purpose Breakthroughs that change patients' lives At Pfizer we are a patient centric company, guided by our four values: courage, joy, equity and excellence.
