Role Overview
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in managing the financial aspects of our projects, from pre-contract planning to post-contract completion. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in cost control, risk management, tendering, and contractual administration.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and cost forecasts.
* Support the team in cost analysis, reporting, and value management.
* Help establish client requirements and prepare budget cost studies.
* Contribute to risk analysis and the development of commercial strategies.
* Assist in preparing interim valuations, final accounts, and payment arrangements.
* Liaise with contract staff, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Support compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Use software such as EasyEarthworks, Excel, Word, Project, Constructa, and Entropy.
Essential Requirements
* A keen interest in construction, civil engineering, and quantity surveying.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly motivated, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
