This role involves working within the utilities sector on projects ranging from £100k up to £7m, requiring strong commercial management and project support skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships while preparing monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports and collaborating closely with Project Management and site teams. Day-to-day duties will include preparing, submitting, and agreeing interim valuations, attending regular project reviews and client meetings, and producing detailed weekly and monthly reports. A key part of the role will be managing subcontractor and supplier procurement, overseeing monthly payment certifications, negotiating variations and final accounts, and ensuring compliance with Payment and Pay-Less notice requirements. The candidate will also provide support with preparing Extension of Time claims, Loss and Expense submissions, and final account negotiations, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved and projects are delivered successfully.
