Wealth Management Engineering requires a hybrid Technical Project / Product Manager & Business Analyst to manage critical growth initiatives and regulatory obligations by leveraging best-in-class project management skills and strong functional/architectural expertise.
The role involves managing key initiatives for the Asset and Wealth Management Division (AWM) to meet new business opportunities and industry/regulatory demands.
Roles will include:
* Collaborating with Divisional and Engineering Management, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to define and document requirements.
* Working with Engineering leadership and teams across divisions to agree on solution design, resourcing, and deliverables.
* Supporting Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle by coordinating with the broader project team.
* Holding project teams accountable, removing roadblocks, and leveraging organizational resources.
* Defining and tracking project metrics and communicating progress to senior leadership.
* Gaining deep functional knowledge of the domain and demonstrating intellectual curiosity.
* Asking focused questions and understanding current processes.
* Applying critical thinking to challenge assumptions.
* Managing problem resolution and action items by deadlines.
* Escalating unresolved or at-risk items and prioritizing analysis based on risks.
Basic Skills and Qualifications:
* Action-oriented with the confidence to drive organizational change collaboratively.
* Deep ownership and accountability for enhancing the firm.
* Energy, focus, drive, and urgency to advance projects.
* Experience as a Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst in Financial Services or related fields.
* Understanding of Technology Concepts and SDLC fundamentals.
* Knowledge of project governance and management tools.
* Experience in improving business processes through technology.
* Proven track record of delivering complex programs on tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior management.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Desirable:
* Understanding of Investment Banking, financial concepts, and regulations.
* Experience with trade lifecycle and functional teams in investment banking.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
* Ability to articulate problems and solutions appropriately.
