We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at Hambledon Wine Estate. In this role you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
* Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies.
* Supervise and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment that promotes excellence in service.
* Help develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary.
* Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of front-of-house areas.
* Run the restaurant, bar and private dining room areas alongside the Restaurant Manager on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the best guest experience and operational efficiency that meets Hambledon’s business plan.
* Be part of the junior leadership team at Hambledon to embrace our pioneering spirit and passion as a super-premium brand in the English sparkling wine category.
* Work closely with others at Hambledon to ensure consumers are utilising all areas of hospitality while visiting.
