 
        
        Recovery Worker (Community Drug and Alcohol Service (Ref: 0074ZB))
We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the adult community team, alongside in‑house services which include outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.
About the Role
Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, aspirations, and create the best treatment plan for their needs. You will work with clients to guide them on their path to recovery. This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery.
Key Responsibilities
 * Manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they are always treated with respect and dignity.
 * Provide continuity of care and coordinate interventions with health, social care, criminal justice, and other specialist services.
 * Develop, implement and review personalised treatment plans.
 * Facilitate partnership working and act in a collaborative manner.
 * Support clients in achieving their recovery goals and maintaining progress.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
 * Attained ONC/NVQ level 3 (or willing to achieve within 12 months).
 * Demonstrable experience working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist settings with people who have experienced substance misuse issues.
 * Strong communication and organisational skills.
 * Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
 * Resilient under pressure, flexible and able to prioritise work.
 * Driving licence with access to a vehicle and ability to add business use to insurance policy.
 * IT competence and ability to adapt to various digital tools.
 * Willingness to support other With You locations and work occasional Saturdays.
