About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support a private individual in their home. This is a part-time role focused on mobility assistance, companionship, and helping maintain independence in daily life.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with mobility and moving safely around the home
* Supporting with safe manual handling, including lifting and carrying where required
* Driving the client to appointments and local errands
* Assisting with shopping and light daily tasks
* Providing companionship and emotional support
About the Client
Age: 51
Health conditions: Arthritis and asthma
Additional needs: Requires physical support with mobility, including lifting assistance using appropriate manual handling techniques
Candidate Requirements
* Experience with manual handling, including confidence in safe lifting techniques (e.g. fireman’s lift)
* Fluent spoken English
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
* Kind, patient, and positive attitude
