Account Manager – Digital Agency
Futureheads has partnered with an ambitious, award‑winning digital agency based in South Wales, specialising in strategic research, digital transformation, and creative communications across the UK and Middle East.
With an exciting new framework agreement secured in the Middle East, our client is experiencing significant growth. They work with prestigious clients including cultural institutions, local government, environmental organisations, and international arts bodies.
Their projects span website redesigns, digital strategy, and high‑impact communications work across multiple sectors. The client is now looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their team and support the delivery of multiple accounts across diverse, culturally rich projects.
This role is perfect for someone in the earlier stages of their career who is eager to learn, thrives on variety, and wants to build meaningful client relationships whilst developing their project management skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What you’ll be doing
* Act as the primary point of contact for 2–3 client accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery
* Support project teams through all stages of delivery, from briefings to completion
* Coordinate between clients and internal teams (designers, strategists, consultants) to ensure projects run smoothly and on time
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with attention to detail
* Proactively communicate with clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and identify opportunities for deeper engagement
* Support the development of proposals, project documentation, and client presentations
* Contribute to strategic thinking and problem‑solving across accounts
* Help identify and nurture new business opportunities within existing client relationships
About you
* Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
* Natural relationship‑builder who enjoys working with diverse clients and stakeholders
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Interest in strategic research, digital projects, and cultural/creative sector work (no deep expertise required – willingness to learn is key)
* Comfortable adapting to new challenges and relishing the opportunity to grow your skillset
* Proactive problem‑solver who takes initiative and ownership
* Ideally based in Wales or within commuting distance of Abergavenny (candidates in Bristol may also be considered)
