What you will do:
* Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory social work support.
* Undertake child and family assessments in line with statutory guidelines.
* Develop and review Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans.
* Identify and manage risks to ensure children are safeguarded from harm.
* Participate in child protection conferences, core groups, and multi-agency meetings.
Person specification:
Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Social Work
Registration & Compliance: Registration with Social Work England
Key Skills:
* Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment
* Strong communication and case management skills
Experience:
* Post-qualification experience in children’s social care
* Experience in cases involving CIN, Child Protection, or safeguarding
* Experience managing complex caseloads and contributing to multi-agency partnerships
