Business Analyst (Data Strategy) - Zurich Insurance

Our Data Strategy team within Central Underwriting is looking for a Business Analyst who’s passionate about using data to drive smarter decisions and shape the future of insurance.

* Working hours: Part-time, job-share, or full-time basis.
* Location: Fareham – Hybrid working available.
* Contract type: Permanent.
* Closing date for applications: 15th December 2025.
What you will be doing
* Collaborating with Pricing, Underwriting, and Data teams to deliver strategic insights, solutions, and impactful projects.
* Enhancing pricing data assets and analytical tools, including initiatives from the Underwriting and Pricing Excellence Forums and leadership meetings.
* Driving improvements in data quality, accessibility, and usage across pricing workflows, including delivery of the Annual Pricing Quality Improvement Plan.
* Engaging stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data strategies that support Central UW teams.
* Proactively maintaining team project plans, ensuring new initiatives are prioritised and aligned with Central UW’s strategic goals.
What are we looking for
* Strong analytical skills with experience in insurance pricing and data strategy.
* Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL and Power BI. Experience with Python or R is a plus.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
