Senior Operations Manager – Pensions
Location: Leeds (3 days per week on site)
Employment Type: Full Time
Our client is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee their Pensions operations. This role involves managing a team responsible for operational processes supporting the Pensions product.
Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Pensions Operations team
* Drive operational excellence through strategic planning and process improvements
* Develop and lead the management team within the pensions function
* Manage operational efficiency, including budgeting, metrics analysis, and automation
* Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure excellent customer service and regulatory compliance
* Operate risk controls and maintain knowledge of pensions and tax regulations
Knowledge / Experience:
* Extensive knowledge of Pensions operations and industry
* Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and control requirements (e.g., CASS)
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Proactive problem-solving abilities
* Ability to interpret regulatory information and embed into processes
* Experience managing complex processes in regulated environments
* Effective stakeholder engagement skills
