Rullion is looking to recruit for the following role: Repairs Engineer
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initially 6 months
Inside IR35
Rate: £41ph
Location: Warwick, UK
Our client offers an exciting opportunity within the Global Repair Network Team, working closely with our external network of MROCs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centers) and authorized Repair Vendors.
The Repairs Engineer (FTC) role within the Repair Network Engineering Team will play a key part in supporting the existing global capabilities within the team, as well as future development projects.
Responsibilities
1. Support component repair development activities.
2. Assess, investigate, and address non-conforming components.
3. Support repair scheme amendments, technical variances, and writing.
4. Assist in implementing improvements and technical solutions internally and externally.
5. Represent engineering during reviews and discussions within the wider community.
6. Maintain regulatory compliance per company policies and international standards.
7. Provide technical support outside normal working hours as required (flexibility).
8. Travel to MROCs and repair vendors to support engineering activities as needed.
Candidate Profile
* Engineering degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Manufacturing discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
* Knowledge of gas turbines and/or industrial equipment, including repair and manufacturing techniques, is preferred.
* Ability to interpret component drawings and relate them to engine assembly design intent.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to interact effectively at different levels and be a flexible self-starter.
* Team player capable of working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Self-management skills to prioritize within team objectives.
* Experience in a customer-facing environment with a record of delivering technical solutions and improvements is advantageous.
