We are experiencing an exciting period of improvement and development in Maternity Services at GWH, focusing on Continuity of Care in line with the Better Births agenda. We have multiple opportunities for both experienced and newly qualified Band 6 midwives to join our community team.
We seek midwives with experience across all maternity areas, who demonstrate kindness, compassion, and a passion for providing excellent care to families.
A part-time vacancy exists within our community midwifery team, with flexible shift patterns considered.

The post involves providing holistic midwifery care to women/birthing people and babies during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods in hospital, birth centre, and community settings. The role includes managing caseloads and deputising for Band 7 in clinical areas. The role is multidimensional, requiring integration of all aspects of care.
