To Be Successful, You Will Have Extensive and recent experience working in Community Mental Health Services. Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and experience in provision of evidence-based treatments in community settings. Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including computer literacy. Demonstrated ability to work with clients from a variety of cultural and ethnic groups. Applicants require a working knowledge of current mental health legislation. The ability to work effectively with other health professionals with a multi-disciplinary team. Position Profile: Provides, plans, implements Community Mental Health Nursing care to customers of Midwest Mental Health & Community Alcohol & Drug Service. This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted: The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations.
