Overview

£26 - £30 per hour (PAYE) | 1:1 Teaching | Immediate Start | Flexible Hours

Are you a qualified teacher ready to step away from the pressures of the classroom and make a real impact?

We’re looking for passionate, trauma-informed Nurture Teachers to deliver 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Salford, Wigan, St Helens, and surrounding areas who are currently not accessing mainstream education.


Responsibilities

* Deliver individualised education to learners with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs in supportive, community-based settings such as libraries, community hubs, schools, and occasionally in the student’s home (fully risk-assessed and safeguarded).
* Build strong, one-to-one relationships and support students’ re-engagement with education.
* Work flexibly outside of a traditional classroom to accommodate student needs.


Essential Requirements

* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
* Experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH, EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)
* A trauma-informed, relationship-focused teaching approach
* The ability to work independently and tailor learning to individual needs
