Due to continued growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Van Driver/CSCS Card Holder to join our Client on a temporary on-going basis located in Bardon Hill, Coalville.
You will report to the site in Coalville, however, will be delivering products to Customers throughout the UK involving early starts and potentially late finishes.
You will initially partner up with a driver, however once you are trained you will be required to work alone delivering the products. The position is initially on a temporary basis however could lead to on-going / permanent role for the right person.
Van Driver Job Details & Benefits;
£13.16 per hour
39 hours per week as standard and any hours over will be paid at overtime 1.5
Site arrival time of 7.30am across the UK, meaning varied start times ranging between 4am-6am
8-11 hours per day depending on workload / traffic
Van Driver Role & Responsibilities include;
Ensure products are delivered and stored safely to sites throughout the UK including delivering materials into homes following the Company standard operating procedures
Ensure delivery picking lists are checked and any defects are reported to the Supervisor
Update delivery status using Company supplied mobile device, including photographic evidence
Ensure vehicles are loaded safely in line with operating guidelines
Ensure any vehicle defects, damage or accidents are reported to the Supervisor
Ensure all daily tasks and deliveries are completed to a high standard and all work processes have been carried out
Always Comply with Health and Safety
Complete daily vehicle checks and submit them weekly
Carry our other remedial tasks as required
Person Specification of Van Driver;
Previous experience within a similar role is essential
Strong practical skills with good Customer focus
Excellent organisational skills and communication skills
Possess a positive attitude with the ability to carry out instructions right first time
Awareness of Health & Safety
Possess a CSCS card to the required level (green as a minimum)
Possess a full UK Driving license
