We re working with a forward-thinking housing association looking to appoint an Assistant Financial Accountant to support their Finance Manager across treasury, VAT, cashflow forecasting and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA) or someone qualified by experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced finance environment.
The role will involve:
* Cashflow forecasting and treasury support
* VAT, CIS and regulatory submissions
* Assisting with monthly and annual accounts
* Supporting audits and financial controls
* Producing accurate financial reporting and reconciliations
* Balance Sheet reconciliation
What they re looking for:
* Strong technical accounting and reporting experience
* Good Excel and analytical skills
* Organised, accurate and proactive approach
* Experience within a regulated sector desirable
* Would suit candidates training in a financial practice
